PlainsCapital Bank Announces Executive Officer Promotions

DALLAS, TX (May 4, 2018) – PlainsCapital Bank (the “Bank”) is pleased to announce the following executive officer promotions for 2018:

Tye Barton

Executive Vice President, Director of Treasury Services – Las Colinas (Dallas)

Tye Barton has been promoted to executive vice president of treasury management. He is responsible for the development, sale, and service of PlainsCapital’s non-credit business including treasury management, merchant services, international services, business banking, and public funds. A certified treasury professional, Barton has 17 years of experience working in the banking and financial services industry. He joined PlainsCapital in 2001. Barton is a graduate of the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business, where he earned an M.B.A. in finance and a B.B.A in management information systems. He is active in several professional associations, including the National Association of Financial Professionals and the Dallas Association of Financial Professionals.

 

Jason Dudley

Executive Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer – Frisco The Star

Jason Dudley has been promoted to executive vice president of commercial lending at PlainsCapital’s newest Dallas-area lending office located at The Star in Frisco—the premier, mixed-use development anchored by the Dallas Cowboys’ world headquarters. With a banking career spanning nearly 15 years, Dudley is responsible for broadening the Bank’s market presence in the growing and dynamic northern region of the Dallas metroplex. A North Texas native, Dudley joined PlainsCapital in 2013. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington where he received his bachelor’s degree, Dudley earned his M.B.A. in finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is active in numerous organizations and associations, including serving on the board of directors for the Frisco Economic Development Corporation, along with serving as the organization’s secretary and treasurer. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors for the Frisco Family YMCA and is a member and past treasurer of the Frisco Rotary Club. Dudley is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth Dallas/Fort Worth as well as the North Texas Chapter of the Risk Management Association.

 

Rob Eggemeyer

Executive Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer – Dallas Preston Center

Rob Eggemeyer has been promoted to executive vice president of commercial lending at PlainsCapital’s Dallas Preston Center branch. Eggemeyer’s broad business management background working in the technology, wholesale distribution, real estate, professional services, and financial services sectors has played a prominent role in his 13-year career in commercial banking and has made him an industry leader in the Dallas market. Passionate about supporting and working with veterans in the community, he is chairman of the veterans committee for the Rotary Club of Park Cities and volunteers his time with the Dallas VA Hospital’s Vet to Vet program. Additionally, he serves on the Business Advisory Council for the University of North Texas at Dallas. Eggemeyer earned a B.S. in electrical engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.

 

Joe Pitch

Executive Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer – Dallas Victory Park

Joe Pitch has been promoted to executive vice president of commercial lending at PlainsCapital Bank’s Dallas Victory Park location. Pitch specializes in building and developing banking relationships with owner-managed, middle market commercial and industrial business customers. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial banking and equipment financing and leasing in the Dallas market. Pitch joined the Bank in 2014. He earned a business degree from Seton Hall University, and is currently a member of the Association for Corporate Growth Dallas/Fort Worth.

 

Mark Magee

Executive Vice President, Senior Credit Officer – Edinburg

PlainsCapital has promoted Mark Magee to executive vice president and senior credit officer. Based in Edinburg, Magee oversees the regional underwriting, approval, and ongoing credit quality of PlainsCapital’s commercial lending portfolio for the Rio Grande Valley and Coastal Bend regions. An industry veteran, he has 30 years of executive and management experience in banking. He joined PlainsCapital in 2013. A South Texas native, Magee earned his degree in finance from the University of Texas-Pan American (now University of Texas Rio Grande Valley). An active member of the community, Magee is a former chairman and board member of the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as treasurer of the Chamber’s Past Presidents and Chairmen organization. He is also a past president and board member of the Edinburg Rotary Club. Magee currently serves on the board of the Edinburg Foundation, Inc.

 

Jeff Flenar

Executive Vice President, Special Assets Manager – Las Colinas (Dallas)

Jeff Flenar has been promoted to executive vice president of special assets. In his role overseeing PlainsCapital’s special asset group, he is responsible for managing the Bank’s statewide non-performing loans and non-earning assets. Specializing in portfolio management, relationship management, and team building, Flenar has 30 years of banking and equipment finance experience. He joined PlainsCapital in 2010. A native of the Midwest, Flenar earned his B.B.A. in marketing with an emphasis in business and retail from Western Michigan University.

 

Bill Lines

Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer – Las Colinas (Dallas)

PlainsCapital has promoted Bill Lines to executive vice president and chief information officer. In addition to overseeing all of the Bank’s information technology services, infrastructure, and IT business operations, he is responsible for developing solutions designed to deliver reliable business improvements through the balance of technology, design, implementation, and optimization. Lines, who joined PlainsCapital in 2015 as senior vice president and chief information and security officer, has 28 years of executive and management experience in the comprehensive development and management of technology programs. He earned his B.B.A. in management from Texas Tech University. Lines has served on the Texas Business Leadership Council’s Cyber Security Task Force, which addresses public policy related to state agency preparedness. He currently volunteers his time with the Dallas ISD’s Pathways in Technology Early College High School program (P-Tech ECHS), an innovative education model designed to ensure students are college-and career-ready in the skills of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

 

Perry Tipton

Executive Vice President, Public Relations and Culture, Lubbock

Perry Tipton has been promoted to executive vice president of public relations and culture for the Lubbock market. He is responsible for fostering strategic partnerships with civic and business leaders on behalf of the Bank in addition to overseeing community events and employee-engagement initiatives designed to connect PlainsCapital’s resources with community needs. Tipton’s banking career spans 45 years. He joined PlainsCapital Bank Lubbock in 1990 and has held numerous leadership positions with Lubbock-area organizations over the years, including the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, American Cancer Society, South Plains Food Bank, Texas Tech Chancellor’s Council, and the Lubbock Executive Association. He currently serves on the board of directors of the National Football Foundation’s Texas Tech Chapter and is a trustee for the Texas Tech Museum Association.
