Bill Leonard Joins The Private Bank at PlainsCapital as Wealth Strategist

FORT WORTH, TX (Jan. 28, 2021) – PlainsCapital Bank recently welcomed Bill Leonard to its Private Bank as wealth strategist at 3707 Camp Bowie Blvd.

Mr. Leonard will develop customized financial plans and investment strategies for The Private Bank’s clients, aligning their assets with their goals.

Bill Leonard joined PlainsCapital from the Private Bank of a large national bank, where he served as senior vice president, senior trust and fiduciary specialist. He has more than 33 years of financial services experience in Texas. He joins a seasoned team of professionals at PlainsCapital’s Fort Worth office, joining Linda Metcalf, Market Manager and a staff of experienced Fiduciary Officers, Portfolio Managers and Oil and Gas Specialists.

Mr. Leonard received bachelor’s degrees in business administration and history from Austin College, and is an honors graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute. He is also a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) through the American Bankers Association.

Mr. Leonard has previously served as a member of the American Bankers Association Institute of Certified Bankers IRA Working Group. He has held various positions on the North Texas Estate Planning Council, including president, vice president, and treasurer. He has also served as member and chairman of the Texas Bankers Association Advisory Board.
