At PlainsCapital Bank, we continue to take every precaution to keep our customers and associates healthy while we work within quickly changing local guidelines. As the COVID-19 situation continues to grow across our region, we’re taking precautions in order to keep our customers and communities safe.
Effective Monday, July 6, our branches will return to lobby access by appointment only. If you are in need of in-person service, please contact your banker to assist you with making an appointment. Our drive-thrus will be open for business as usual.
This page is designed to answer your questions. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to give us a call, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Prioritizing Health & Safety
Our top priority remains protecting the health and safety of our customers, employees, and communities. Therefore, all PlainsCapital branches will be regularly sanitized throughout the day.
We ask that you adhere to the following guidelines when visiting our lobbies:
- Facial coverings are required to protect yourself and others.
- Please keep a 6-foot distance from other customers and our employees.
- If you’re feeling ill or have been exposed to someone who is ill, please do not visit a bank lobby.
In addition to lobby visits, our drive-thrus remain open to serve you. Our Personal Teller Machines also offer you the ability to speak with a live teller virtually, with extended banking hours as well as 24/7 cash deposit and withdrawal services. Additionally, many of our ATMs have been upgraded to accept deposits 24/7.
We have many other convenient tools that allow you to access your account virtually, including mobile and online banking, mobile and online bill pay, and Zelle® for paying family and friends. If you have any questions about these services, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
Protecting Your Financial Health
PlainsCapital Bank understands that the best protection is education. That’s why our seasoned fraud prevention team provides our customers with our Fraud Prevention Series, “Keeping Your Money Safe,” highlighting the latest fraud scams with helpful tips on how you can avoid them.
Recently, the threat posed by COVID-19 has ignited an international health emergency and scammers are attempting to make your fear and concern work to their benefit with fraud scams:
- Messages selling fraudulent cures, vaccines, testing kits, or other medical equipment
- Fake emails claiming to be from the CDC, WHO, or experts offering important information about the virus
- Phony text messages regarding banks closing and stimulus checks
- Fraudulent calls, emails, or other communications claiming to be from the Treasury Department and offering COVID-19 related grants or stimulus payments in exchange for personal financial information, or an advance fee, or charge of any kind, including the purchase of gift cards. Please contact the FBI at www.ic3.gov if you receive one of these scams so that the fraudsters can be tracked and stopped. Fraud involving payment of federal taxes should be reported to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration.
