Delayed Processing of Wire Transfers

Delayed Processing of Wire Transfers from Friday, March 20

Prior to the start of business on Friday, March 20, PlainsCapital Bank’s wire transfer provider, Finastra, discovered a security breach. There is no evidence that any customer data was accessed or exfiltrated, and PlainsCapital’s technology team confirmed there was no impact to our own network. However, this did result in a delay of processing wire transfers entered into PlainsCapital’s Business Online Banking on Friday.

PlainsCapital is working closely with Finastra to safely reestablish the wire transfer system. Until that time, we will process outstanding wires utilizing the Federal Reserve Bank system.

All wires entered into Business Online Banking on Friday, March 20 are currently being processed; the target completion time is 10 a.m. this morning.

All incoming wires received Friday, March 20 have been posted. Incoming wires received on Monday, March 23 will be processed individually.

If you have any questions regarding Business Online Banking wire transfers, please don’t hesitate to contact Treasury Management Client Support at 214-252-4005. Thank you for your continued business.
