PlainsCapital Employee Recognized for Professional and Community Leadership
WEATHERFORD, TX (March 6, 2020) – Tanya Hodges, a PlainsCapital Bank senior loan assistant in Aledo, Texas, was recently named the winner of the Athena Leadership Award at the 23rd annual East Parker County Chamber of Commerce (EPCCC) Awards Banquet at Dove Ridge Vineyard.
The Athena Leadership Award is presented to a woman who demonstrates professional excellence, community service, and actively mentors and supports other women as they pursue professional excellence and leadership skills. Hodges was nominated for the prestigious award by local chamber members and selected by several unbiased, out-of-state chambers of commerce.
“It’s such an honor to be recognized with the Athena Leadership Award,” said Hodges. “I’m passionate about helping women become their best selves – both professionally and personally. I believe the impact of helping other women creates a positive ripple effect that can be seen in our communities and beyond.”
The EPCCC received 17 nominations for the Athena Leadership Award and 110 nominations for all award categories combined, marking the most they’ve ever seen.
The Athena Leadership Award was the last award of the evening, presented to Tanya Hodges of PlainsCapital Bank by past recipient, Susie Henning, director of development and public relations for Trinity Christian Academy.
