PlainsCapital Bank Renews Annual United Way Giving Campaign to Help Local Communities

To help make a difference in local communities throughout Texas, PlainsCapital Bank has once again partnered with United Way for their annual employee giving campaign. By the end of 2020, PlainsCapital Bank employees will have pledged to donate over $195,000 to local area United Way organizations and their nonprofit partner agencies who focus on bettering communities through education, income, and health.

“We’re proud to partner with United Way and their affiliated organizations who are committed to helping communities thrive,” said PlainsCapital Bank President and CEO Jerry Schaffner. “Our annual giving campaign empowers our employees to make a direct impact on their communities and become part of the causes they care about. It’s amazing how a small amount of participation from everyone can yield huge results.”

PlainsCapital Bank’s West Texas region ran their campaign in August 2019 and the remaining regions held their campaigns in October 2019. Employees could make a one-time contribution or enroll in a specified payroll deduction to make donations each pay period.

Participants were able to select United Way partner agencies to receive their donation or give to the United Way Community Impact Fund, where their contribution will be used where it’s most needed within their local community.

United Way invests the pledges each region gives annually in making their communities better places to live, work, and raise families. PlainsCapital Bank is grateful for the opportunity to make a lasting difference in their communities by participating in the annual United Way giving campaign.
