PlainsCapital Bank Welcomes Clay Ashley

LUBBOCK, TX (March 23, 2018) — Clay Ashley has joined PlainsCapital Bank as vice president and agricultural loan officer. Mr. Ashley has an extensive background in agricultural lending, working with Texas farmers, ranchers, rural property owners, and agribusinesses. In his new role, he is responsible for generating and developing agricultural loans—including financing for equipment, operations, livestock purchases, and farm and ranch real estate—for the South Plains region.
Mr. Ashley most recently served as a senior loan officer for Capital Farm Credit. Prior to that, he was with AgTexas Farm Credit Services.
He earned a B.S. in agricultural and applied economics from Texas Tech University.
